Out with the old and rotted, and in with the new. All tolled there were 24 full logs, or log sections, replaced. That's a record nobody hopes to ever break.
Less than an hour after this picture was taken this wall was complete, save for stain. The rescuers that hiked in the following day finished up the staining after the rain eventually stopped.
As for materials deliveries, this lean-to was the toughest of them all, both on carts and cartilage. Lots of both were destroyed along the trail out there.
